Kaitlyn Newell is a research and policy professional with more than a decade of experience in early childhood. She began her career as a Head Start teacher, and her learnings from the children, families, teachers, and school administrators she worked with have deeply influenced her commitment to ensuring equitable access to high-quality learning opportunities and care. Before joining CELFE, Kaitlyn served in program management, advocacy, and strategic data roles at local, state, and national levels. She is committed to using data, research, and analysis to help build a more strategic and equitable early childhood system.
Kaitlyn holds a master's degree in education: Research Training from the University of Oxford, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Yale University.
