Overview
Our methodologies and models demonstrate the impact of changing discreet aspects of financing strategies to result in meaningful improvements related to equity, children’s learning, and families’ ability to access an affordable and high-quality ECEC experience. We need to better understand how states fund ECEC services now, how that investment measures up to the current, actual cost of care, and then how that ultimately compares to the cost of the high-quality, accessible, and affordable care system that young learners deserve.
We are deeply invested in our work as field builders and in developing a network of cost modeling practitioners that share knowledge and together move ECEC funding equity forward.
