Early Learning Shortchanged Webinar

October 2024 | CELFE | Tags: Presentation

Overview

Early care and education (ECE) is dramatically underfunded in the U.S. Yet, accurately tracking how many – or how few – public dollars are invested in children’s care and education before kindergarten is exceptionally difficult because ECE funding mechanisms are fractured. The Center for Early Learning Funding Equity’s Shortchanged Project aims to create an accurate account of the sum total of public funding spent on early care and education in the U.S.

We hosted an in-depth webinar discussion about how early care and education is funded in the U.S. and why it is so challenging, but important to track on October 24, 2024. Please view the full recording below.
