The Center for Early Learning Funding Equity team was engaged by the Early Childhood Investment Corporation to evaluate a wage pilot effort, which included an aspirational salary scale for Michigan's early childhood workforce. The work included data collection and analysis, stakeholder engagement, including interviews and focus groups, and resulted in a final set of recommendations outlined in the report. As part of our recommendations, CELFE proposed an alternative methodology for developing a salary scale.
