Autumn Hagstrom brings a diversified background with a strong emphasis on research, advocacy, and program management, deeply rooted in her passion for equity in early childhood education and understanding of systemic racial, economic, and gender injustice present in early childhood systems. Autumn is passionate about elevating the narratives and experiences of early childhood educators and merging data and storytelling to highlight the essential roles and unique challenges faced by caregivers and teachers.
Using her experiences as a caregiver, policy researcher, and advocate, Autumn is committed to transforming the early learning system and driving equitable public investment in early childhood funding. At CELFE, she has worked with seven states to design tools to understand the cost of high-quality early education and care.
Autumn holds a Master's degree in Social Work, Policy and Administration from the University of Chicago's Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice and a Bachelor of Arts in Education Sciences from the University of California, Irvine.
